Ronnie - Sable, Aug 06

One never likes to single out individual hunters because really all the guys and gals that have hunted with us have been great. Outfitters I think tend to become jaded and it is something you really have to guard against. Fortunately I hunt myself with longbow and I think that keeps me in touch with others that hunt. Ronnie stands out for two reasons in my mind, one is his single minded pursuit of a sable antelope resulting in this fine trophy and the other is that the story of his hunt could be made into a novel. It took days of walk and stalk, hopping in and out of blinds and a huge team effort to get this animal. In the end Ronnie made some hard choices but as you can see by his smile they were the right ones. So from me personally and my team a big congratulations on a great hunt and a great trophy.
