Craig, Hagar and Francesca.

Well folks that's all for the season. Obviously I have not published every photograph and I noticed that I have got a few out of order, I will work out of that. If you think I have missed one of your trophies please let me know and I will find it and put it in, if I have the photo. 2007 is looking busy for us and the hunting season is promising to be a good one. Rain has been late so its looks like its going to be a dry summer. I have one hunt open in the middle of 2007 so please let me know if you are interested. I have two hunts booked for 2008 so hurry if you were thinking of hunting then.

All things change over time and I guess Ferroland Bowhunting is no exception. We like to think that the changes that have taken place are just going to make us better. We have a great team going into 2007 are looking at opening up a new area in Gravelotte which we will hopefully hunt in the coming season. It is business as usual here at Ferroland and we are looking forward to hunting with you. Posted by Picasa

Robert - Warthog

I liked this shot cause it kinda encapsulates the fun we have while hunting. I mean to me thats why we do this. Posted by Picasa

Robert - Impala, Aug O6

Another great impala for your viewing pleasure. You will notice that Robert and Ronnie did not do a lot of missing. Posted by Picasa

Ronnie - Impala Aug, 2006

These impala just seem to get more and more popular as the season gets along. I liked how this ones horns started to curl out. Posted by Picasa

Robert - Zebra, Aug 06

Did I say we had a good season fpr zebra. If it was always predictable or easy then it wouldn't be called bowhunting. Congrats to Robert on this great zebra. Posted by Picasa

Ronnie - Warthog, Aug 06

This certainly was a good season for great warthog trophies. I would proud of this guy too. Posted by Picasa

Ronnie - Waterbuck, Aug 06

Ronnie just seemed to be able to pick out beautiful trophies or did they pick him out? Posted by Picasa

Robert - Wildebeest Aug, 06

Its not good to get the impression that because a lot of these old bulls appear on these pages they are easy to harvest. This is one animal you do not want to make a bad shot on. A number and times the trackers, myself and faithful Jack (the Russel) have walked days after these tough critters. An easy animal to get over confident on. Posted by Picasa

Robert - Impala, Aug 06

They just keep cropping up these gorgeous impala. Posted by Picasa

Steve - Wildebeest, Jul 06

We certainly harvested a good crop of outstanding wildebeest in 2006 season. Posted by Picasa

Bryan - Wildebeest, Jul 06

I don't know this one sure looks like a buffalo to me. Posted by Picasa

Bryan - Kudu, Jul 06

Well we are famous for our kudu bulls and these photos show why. Posted by Picasa

Impala - Ronnie, Aug 06

Every species has its attractions for different folks. I guess the impala is our whitetail and often underestimated. A small jumpy target that moves incredibly fast, you could not ask for more of a bowhunting challenge. Posted by Picasa

Ronnie - Sable, Aug 06

One never likes to single out individual hunters because really all the guys and gals that have hunted with us have been great. Outfitters I think tend to become jaded and it is something you really have to guard against. Fortunately I hunt myself with longbow and I think that keeps me in touch with others that hunt. Ronnie stands out for two reasons in my mind, one is his single minded pursuit of a sable antelope resulting in this fine trophy and the other is that the story of his hunt could be made into a novel. It took days of walk and stalk, hopping in and out of blinds and a huge team effort to get this animal. In the end Ronnie made some hard choices but as you can see by his smile they were the right ones. So from me personally and my team a big congratulations on a great hunt and a great trophy. Posted by Picasa

Ronnie - Eland, Aug 06

It definitely seems that these large beautiful animals got more popular towards the end of the season. Ronnie brought down the really magnifcient old bull and yes I would have also had a smile on my face. Posted by Picasa

Waterbuck - Robert, Aug 06

Last hunt of the season and Robert got off to a good start with this awesome trophy. Posted by Picasa

Eland - Steve, July 06

Another great animal and a fine way to end a hunt. Well done Steve and Linda. Steve shot it of course Linda was our chief tracker. Posted by Picasa

Bryan - Warthog, July 06

The gorgeous, the bad and the ugly....yea that pretty much sums it up. Posted by Picasa

Bryan - Eland, July 06

They dont come much bigger than this and it might look like a big target but if you don't hit it right even with lots of bow it don't go down. Bryan sure hit it right. Posted by Picasa

Steve - Red Hartebeest, July 06

This was a perfect heart shot but I think he had Steve's heart going when he went about 250 yards before falling over. Posted by Picasa

Warthog - Bryan, July 06

At this point I was not sure who had pig fever worse Bryan or Steve. Posted by Picasa

Bryan - Warthog, July 06

Another Knarely Harley for this team they sure did like them big pigs. Posted by Picasa

Steve - Zebra, July 06

Steve did not get left behind and harvested this beauty for himself. Posted by Picasa

Bryan - Zebra, July 06
