Jay - Warthog

Double trouble I just loved this photograph of these two prehistoric pigs. Good shooting as usual Jay. Not much gets away from that Hoyt Supertec. Posted by Picasa

Jay - White Blesbuck

This white blesbuck was a rare harvest Jay is still determined to get a brown one. Posted by Picasa

Jay - Wildebeest

Folks this is Jay with a 31.5 inch wildebeest they don't come much bigger than that. Posted by Picasa

Scott - Red Hartebeest

We tried really hard to get Scott to smile in all the photos he is a hard man to move. I promise he cracked a smile when Jack the Russel and Josie his sidekick found this Hartebeest. Posted by Picasa

Scott - Kudu

For those of you that have hunted with us and for those of you that have heard of us you will know that we are famous for the consitently great quality kudu we produce. Scott harvested this 59er which hardly seems fair on only your first trip to Africa but hey we were happy for him. Posted by Picasa

Jay - Eland

If its big you want? It doesn't get much bigger than this. Jay and Andries with a truly magnificent Eland. Posted by Picasa

Scott - Gemsbuck

Gemsbuck was right on the top of Scott's list when he headed out to Africa and would you just look at this bull. Posted by Picasa

Jay - Nyala

End of September was our last hunt of the season and what a hunt. Jay another well known face at Ferroland brought Scott out of Texas for his first hunt in Africa. Will all the Scent Blocker folks please take note of how much Scent Blocker is being used and sprayed in the blinds etc. Posted by Picasa

Dave - Red Hartebeest

Dave decided this great red hartebeest would make a fine counterpoint to his tsessebe. Posted by Picasa

Dave - Tssesebe

Daves tsessebe fastest antelope in existence but not fast enough for Dave's arrow and no I don't know what that hat is about? Posted by Picasa

Dave - Wildebeest

Ok there is another picture of Dave with this wildebeest which shows them both off in a much better light but I promised not to publish it. Darn! Great wildebeest Dave. Posted by Picasa

Roger - Warthog

Will AR please wake up and recognize an opportunity here. We at Ferroland despite no support from the company itself are hardcore Hoyt shooters. Rog stands out as a firm AR supporter and his collection of trophies say a lot for his shooting and the bow. Posted by Picasa

Roger and PH Andries - Eland

An indomitable pair these two that have hunted together for many years. This is a Livingstones Eland Bull that we removed as part of our management program. Will you look at the size of that thing! Posted by Picasa

Roger - Kudu

There is a great story behind this kudu. Roger as mentioned has hunted with us many times and each time as also already mentioned has harvested many world class trophies. In the Ferro - Land of awesome kudus it has been somewhat of an embarrasment to us that while we have managed to put Roger on one or two kudus we were never able to put him onto a kudu in the upper 50 class. We shoot these type of kudu on Ferroland regularily and there is much excitement everytime it happens this great trophy was for all of us but especially for Rog and his PH Andries extra special. Bushbuck - Roger

This completes Roger's spiral horned flush at Ferroland. Big congrats from all of us. Roger has been with us so many times and been such a great ambassodor for us that we consider him and his wife Carol part of our team here at Ferroland. Rog also manages to consistently harvest great trophies like this bushbuck. Posted by Picasa

Impala - Dave

Dave - Eland

Dave also decided to take this magnificent one horned Eland bull now that's the kind of hunter we here at Ferroland appreciate. I was actually very envious of this trophy. Posted by Picasa

Steve - Warthog

Well I thought it would be a good time to update everyone as our hunting season is coming to a close. I mentioned previously we took a break in the middle previously to do a large game capture and move some of our rhino buffalo and sable around. In August our very good friend and ambassador Roger came to visit he introduced us Dave who had his first hunt with on his first trip to Africa he managed to harvest 10 animals in 10 days, not bad for your first time. Despite Rogers many visits with us he did not hesitate to take a few more animals home with him and finally managed to get himself a really great kudu which is something he has been after for a while. Here is Dave with a rather good warthog.
